Grão  Cuisine company is deeply rooted in culture, carrying the aroma and flavor of the land’s history. It was created by two “baianas” who decided to merge their ideas, customs, and flavors into a bold, powerful, and affectionate project.

 

Their goal is to bring our Northeast to the USA as a gastronomic and cultural reference, rescuing all our ancestry in dishes and potent flavors that only BAHIA has. Grão revives our affective memory in dishes that take us back to the dining table at home, where we nourish ourselves with affection and love.

Chef Bianca Barros, first uncovered her passion for cooking when she began to translate her dreams, her deep-rooted love for her hometown, and her artistic skills onto the canvas of a plate.

"I am an advocate for affectionate cooking. The kind of cuisine that, upon the very first taste, instantaneously transports you to a cherished memory. These are the memories that are uniquely yours, experiences that only you have lived. It’s about creating dishes that stir up positive emotions, evoke feelings of comfort, and kindle a sense of affection."
